Espionage

They say that the FBD were born from an unlikely fusion: a low-budget version of the FBI mixed with the Diddy of emotional blackmail. Their strength was cheating and achieving their goals through lies and threats. They present themselves as great investigators of the “truth”, when in reality they live spreading lies and staging falsehoods. Here lies the great paradox of these people.
Official mission: “Control the chaos.” Real mission: “Create the chaos... and then pretend to control it.”

María was a different woman. Not different by choice, but because she had a gift: she was a visionary.
What is a visionary person? It is not someone more intelligent nor someone with superpowers. It is an apparently ordinary person who has the ability to see fragments of the future or the past at specific moments. This vision can manifest in many ways: in art, cinema, music, or even in dreams. It is something spontaneous, natural, impossible to program or control. There are not many people with this gift, but some do exist — to a greater or lesser degree. They are not magical; they simply perceive events before they happen.

When the FBD discovered that María possessed a natural gift, they felt mortally offended. Their collective ego could not tolerate the idea that someone — especially an ordinary woman — could have something they themselves did not. And so, they gave the order: destroy María.

They began by attacking her work. They sabotaged her opportunities, set up humiliating situations, manipulated perceptions. They involved colleagues, bosses, and even strangers to collaborate in the mission — after all, María could not, under any circumstances, stand out or evolve, because that deeply hurt the fragile self-esteem of the FBD.

Step by step, they destroyed everything María had built. They created provocations until she exploded and left her jobs. They stained her reputation in the job market. Every time she tried to improve herself, enroll in a course, or better her life, there they were, destroying every opportunity, as if María’s growth were a personal offense to their existence.

And all of this was done in plain sight. Their method was always the same: they hired a man to deceive her, manipulate her, and destroy her emotionally. Little by little, they pushed away the people who could support her, isolating her until she was completely alone.

Then they infiltrated the company where María worked. There, they began to benefit the company and win the sympathy of bosses and colleagues, flattering everyone in order to get something in return: their participation in the attacks against María.

They spent the entire day putting on a ridiculous show, acting like clowns to keep their farce alive. Everything was filled with lies, traps, and carefully fabricated situations designed to harm her.

Meanwhile, María returned home completely broken, often crying, where her two young children waited without understanding what was happening.

Many collaborated because they had been manipulated with lies, and because the FBD believed they were above the law — something they never tired of demonstrating. Far from feeling ashamed, they seemed proud of their impunity.

María, despite the pain, observed everything with a sense of strangeness. They treated her as if she were worthless… but at the same time had an obsessive need to demonstrate power to her, as if they needed an audience for their little theater.

They wanted to prove that they were in charge. Everyone knows that. María was nothing more than a humble woman: a single mother with two children, fragile and unprotected. They took advantage of her condition as a woman and her vulnerability to commit the worst acts against her.

They sent men to deceive her and destroy her life, and they also used the fragility of her children to attack her. In addition, they took advantage of her difficult financial situation to blackmail and pressure her, knowing she had few resources to defend herself.

María was, for them, the perfect victim: someone they could manipulate and use as a simple guinea pig within their schemes.

But the ignorance of the FBD, combined with their arrogance, has no limits.

Every time María formed a real friendship or began a romantic relationship with someone, the FBD panicked. They felt deeply hurt — and terrified. Immediately they issued a “destruction order”: María could not have emotional bonds with anyone. They only allowed her to interact with fools chosen and controlled by them.

Thus, they turned María into a prisoner. Why? Because she possessed something they desired, a gift granted only to María, not to them; they longed for something that did not belong to them. They perceived the value she carried and began to weave plans to exploit her, to take possession of her, to bend her to their will.

But what the FBD did not know… is that their power only works on those who believe in their lies. And María, contrary to what they expected, never lost her clarity. She may have been silenced and isolated, but never manipulated.

The years passed and these practices became routine, where espionage and the violation of human rights were normalized.

The leaders of the FBD sold everything they had: the mother, the children, the friends… even the parakeet. Everything was valid, in the name of profit and vanity. NASA paid them a fortune to obtain “samples of something supernatural.” Little did they know that María had no magical powers. She was simply human and could simply see something that others could not.

They spent endless hours provoking María, whether with things from the present or the past. They tried in every possible way: through situations, people, mixed stories, and comments thrown into the air. Their only goal always seemed to be the same: to make María afraid or react.

They mixed all kinds of topics and circumstances, creating absurd and senseless scenes. But over time, María stopped reacting. She understood that everything was full of lies and traps, and decided to ignore them completely.

Even so, they continued their theater. They kept talking to themselves, performing ridiculous scenes for hours, as if they needed that spectacle for something. It even seemed as if they fed off that absurd dynamic.

Moreover, it was impossible not to notice the extreme hatred they felt toward María in everything they did and said. Their desperation at not getting a reaction made them provoke even more: making strange noises, throwing objects on the floor, or trying to get her attention in any way.

The question is inevitable: why do they need María to react in a forced way? Why do they constantly resort to traps and provocations? What is the purpose of all this?

No one seems to really know what this game is for.

One thing, however, is evident: anything that requires deception to sustain itself can hardly be based on truth.

Why do they want to make María explode? Why do they pursue her so obsessively? Why are they constantly behind her shouting names or reminding her of situations to prevent her from moving on with her life?

Is it a personal revenge? Who is really behind all of this? And for what purpose?

It is a mystery that María does not understand.

The only certainty she has is that they are cowards and, therefore, use these methods because otherwise they could do nothing, as they are nothing more than liars.

And another certainty she has is that they are using government money to provide material benefits to the people they use to attack her, and who in turn bring in friends and acquaintances to benefit. It is nothing more than a scheme.

Only those who do not want to see it fail to see it.

María was forced to stay at home.
The persecution was constant, wherever she went.
The FBD followed her, watched her, cornered her.

They did not only invade her space…
they also tried to control her life.

They prevented her from having friendships, relationships, opportunities.
They blocked any possibility of moving forward.

As if her growth ruined the story they had built about her.
As if her freedom broke the script of their own lie.

But there is something inevitable to think:
If there are people making money from this farce…
it is because someone is financing it.

Until one day something unexpected happened.

The world seemed to tremble.

Planet Earth was on the verge of collapse,
as if the laws of nature had been challenged, ignored… and pushed too far.

María had been chosen by God.
And that was not respected.

When she confessed that she saw signs, that she had visions of the future, they reacted by destroying everything.

They turned beauty into darkness.
Dreams into nightmares.
The positive into fear and confusion.

They began placing false signals everywhere,
altering the natural course of things,
breaking the balance.

But there are limits that cannot be crossed without consequences.

And then, in the face of so much manipulation, everything turned against them.
As if the world responded.
As if there were an invisible law that cannot be deceived.

Then, in the face of so much evil, God decided to place the world before its own trap:

Every time they hurt María, they hurt the world.
Every time they try to destroy her, the world suffers too.
Every time they seek to break her spirit, they tear the fabric of everything around them.
Every time they mistreat her, the whole world feels the wound.

(Don’t be alarmed :) this is fiction. It is the presentation of a classmate’s book, which will be published soon. And its promotion has already begun.)
